David Scott

David was born and brought up in St. Andrews, The Home of Golf.  David has been in the golf industry since he left high school.  Now a Master Professional of the PGA, David is the General Manager at Dumbarnie Links which sits just outside of St. Andrews.  David is a huge part of the success of our students as he is in charge of coaching and mentoring the students as they go through their training. 

Charles Woodworth

Charlie attended and graduated from Harvard in 1980.  From 1981-1986, he worked for Goldman Sachs & Co. as an institutional sales professional.  Charlie then worked for Intercontinental Capital Associates, a New York and San Francisco based boutique investment banking firm specializing in creative tax solutions for corporations.  Charlie later co-founded North Bridge Capital, a financial advisor and placement agent for private companies seeking early stage venture financing as well as management groups seeking acquisition financing.  Charlie was also a partner at Lens, a shareholder activist fund where his primary responsibilities were fund raising and interfacing with outside institutional investors.  Charlie was also a partner at Brittany Capital Group, a firm specializing in fund raising for PE firms.

Bluette Blinoff

Bluette went to Cornell University where she received a full scholarship. She started her MAT in education at Tulane University, but transferred into Tulane’s law school. Wanting to practice law in Denver, she transferred to the University of Denver Sturm School of Law where she graduated Order of St. Ives and 6th in her class.  Bluette first worked in municipal finance with the law firm of Kutak Rock & Huie in Denver, Colorado, where she became a partner. She worked for a short time in corporate finance with Holmes Roberts & Owen before moving to New York City to accept a position at E.F Hutton & Company, Inc. in investment banking. At E.F Hutton, Bluette worked on, and then helped originate, offerings in municipal finance, initial public offerings, debt and structured financings. Her areas of expertise included structured financings, telecommunications companies and health care investment banking. She held a short-term position as President of Patton Mortgage Company where she helped assemble and sell pools of mortgages.

Bluette moved to Houston, Texas to work with Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor. During that time, she served on the Board of Directors of the Houston Rotary as well as President of the Association of Business and Professional Women in Houston. She was one of the founders of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston.

Marriage brought her back to Pennsylvania where she started a boutique investment bank called Texada Capital Corporation with her partner, Mr. Laurie Kolbeins, a Harvard-trained MBA. In 2006, both acquired a company called Promotion Fulfillment Center (‘PFC”) in Camanche, IA. Today PFC provides third party logistics services, as well as promotions for Fortune 500 brands.  Currently, Bluette is the President of PFC.

David DeSmith

After earning a bachelor’s degree in creative writing at The Johns Hopkins University and an M.A. in creative writing from the University of Colorado, David DeSmith embarked on a career in advertising and marketing that has taken him to some of the country’s most vibrant ad communities, including Boston, Minneapolis, Richmond, Portland (Maine), and New York City, where he was first a creative director at Young & Rubicam and later a founding partner and creative director at Mezzina/Brown Partners.

David is the author of two books that examine a pair of America’s more celebrated marketing and advertising campaigns, as well as the former publisher of two consumer golf magazines that he created after moving from New York City to Maine in 1995.

Currently, he’s serving as the Corporate Brand Director for a Boston-based biotech company, which hired him to oversee a brand refresh and reposition the brand to its life sciences customer base. He is also a contributing writer for LINKS Magazine and LINKS Insider, and Contributing Editor of Northeast Golf Magazine.

He is the father of two children, both avid golfers, and lives in Natick, Mass. With his wife Sue, a visual artist.

William DeBoer

William, who goes by Bill, has 20 years of leadership experience driving the real estate asset success of global organizations, with a core strength in articulating the strategy to bridge the gap between vision to development of sound and profitable structures and innovative programs to improve the corporate real estate portfolio.

Driven by a fundamental belief which has shaped the success of his career and companies served, Bill is passionate about investing in an organization’s people to drive measurable change.  A mentor and coach at heart, he has developed high-performance leadership and management teams to thrive in the most turbulent of economies and proven his agile leadership in adjusting to changing regulatory climates and required licensing to purchase, merge, develop and improve potential sites around the world.

Bill is the father to two girls and grandfather of 3-grandsons.  He likes to spend his free time with family however, when not doing that you can often find him on the golf course or traveling with his wife Pam.

Billy LeBlond

Billy grew up in Boston and is 1 of 10 kids.  He graduated Boston University in ’81 where he played hockey all four year.  His team won the 1978 NCAA’s.  Once done with school, Billy has always been in construction as a General Contractor and Carpenter.  He is a father of four and currently lives in Maine.  Billy is also a member of The R&A.

Graeme Tones

Graeme grew up just outside of Newcastle in the North East of England.  A keen golfer from a young age, he fell in love with the school when meeting Don during the school’s first session.  Graeme works in PR for a major finance company in the UK.

Richard Rytman

Richard (Rick) is an experienced corporate security executive with a proven track record in leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence. His broad professional background includes that as a lawyer (prosecutor and general counsel), FBI Special Agent, and corporate executive.  Richard received a BA in Computer Information Systems from St. Leo University, St. Leo, FL and a JD from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee.  He is a veteran of both the United States Navy (enlisted) and Army (officer).
