HOW DO I APPLY TO JOIN YOUR PROGRAMME?

If you are an ex-military veteran from the UK, U.S. or Canada and you believe that you could benefit from joining our programme, go to our Apply page, fill in the contact form and we will be back in touch as soon as we can.

Please complete the enquiry form and we will contact you by email and provide the application form.

HOW MANY TRAINING SESSIONS DO YOU RUN IN A YEAR?

We typically run 3-4 sessions a year, which take place in St Andrews, Scotland, and one in Kohler, Wisconsin.

I HAVE NEVER PLAYED GOLF, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE IN YOUR TRAINING?

It is not really possible to successfully learn to caddie without golfing experience. There are veteran organisations, such as The On Course Foundation (OCF), which provide opportunities to learn, enjoy and build golfing skills. Many of those who complete the Caddie School for Soldiers program are referred by OCF.

DO YOU ACCEPT FEMALE VETERANS?

Yes, The Caddie School for Soldiers offers equal opportunities for all and assess each individual on their merits.

ONCE I AM ACCEPTED, DO I HAVE TO BUY MY OWN PLANE TICKET?

No. Your travel, food, accommodation, caddie uniform and golf are provided by the charity.

WHAT IS YOUR CHARITY’S TAX ID NUMBER?

The Caddie School for Soldiers is a 501 C foundation in the US allowing tax relief for donors. Additionally, in the UK the charity is registered with OSCR allowing it to claim Gift Aid on donations increasing the value by 25p for every £1 given.
